Safeguarding and accessibility

What schools need to know before registering.

The welfare of pupils is paramount. These arrangements will be confirmed in detail for each event before booking.

Pupil supervision

School staff remain responsible for the supervision and conduct of their pupils at all times, during both online and in-person activities.

Speaker safeguarding and DBS

Speakers and facilitators involved in in-person sessions will be subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including DBS checks where relevant, before taking part.

Online-session safety

Online sessions are delivered through supervised school channels. Schools are responsible for managing how pupils access and view live content.

Photography and parental consent

Any photography or recording is the school's responsibility and subject to parental consent. The programme will not photograph or record pupils without the school's explicit arrangement.

SEND and accessibility

Schools can share general access or participation requirements when registering. Please describe arrangements only; do not include pupils' names or sensitive personal details.

Pupil personal data

The programme does not collect pupils' names or personal details. Registration captures school-level information and a school contact only.

Travel for in-person events

Travel, supervision and arrangements for in-person events are the responsibility of the visiting school. Venue details will be confirmed per event.

Full safeguarding arrangements will be shared with registered schools ahead of each confirmed event.
